A civil BRICS meeting was held in New Delhi on 03-04 Oct 2016 to discuss common issues like how to make an effective civil society in the context of current challenging environment. Chair of FNB Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim participated in the meeting attended by NGO networks of the region. The views of civil society organisations on regulatory laws, shrinking resources, capacity building of CSOs, proposed BRICS Bank, potential resource exchange between BRICS countries were reflected in the meeting facilitated by Indian NGO Network VANI.
