NGO Federation has distributed blankets to the hardcore poor in the areas hit by cold wave in Kurigram, Gaibandha, Joypurhat, Bogra, Naogaon, Natore and Magura districts. Assisted by BURO Bangladesh the blankets were distributed through 61 member organizations. Deputy Commissioner or UNOs were present during the program.  

BRAC has distributed 1 lac blankets among the ultra-poor in the areas hit by cold wave in the country. As part of the program 1700 hundred blankets were given to 6-15 years old children in the 17 Children Centre in Dhaka.  ASA has distributed from its own fund blankets worth Taka 20 lac through the district administration.
