The NGO Federation, with the assistance of BURO Bangladesh, distributed blankets to the victims of severe cold in the northern region of the country. The relief materials were distributed among ultra-poor elderly men and women through its district member organizations in a number of hard-hit villages under Kurigram, Gaibandha, Joypurhat, Naogaon and Bogra districts.  Earlier, the Federation distributed blankets in Rangpur with the assistance RDRS.

BRAC distributed 20,000 blankets in 13 affected districts including Jessore and Satkhira in the South. ASA also distributed blankets in a number of districts.
