A 20-member Japanese team visited the Central Office of the NGO Federation on 02 March 2010. The discussion dwelt on the socio-economic condition of Bangladesh, evolution of NGO movement and gradual expanses of their programs in poverty alleviation, employment creation, health, education, environment, human rights, women’s empowerment etc. including GO-NGO relationship. The role of the Federation in promoting the interest of the sector also featured in the discussion.
