A three-member delegation of USA based Heifer International headed by its Vice-president (Asia/South Pacific Program) Mahendra N. Lohani and the Country Director of its Nepal Office visited FNB on 11 October, 2006 for sharing their experiences as well as the role and activities of FNB. They discussed various aspects of development programs of the NGOs in Bangladesh. The Heifer International is a USA based charitable organization with a program for Asia and the South Pacific Region with a mission “to work with communities to end hunger and poverty, and care for the earth”.
