Sixty five out of 71 (91%) of Dalit students passed the last Primary School Certificate examination in Kushita, Chaudanga, Rajbari and Pabna districts. Of them 39 are girls and 26 are boys. In the same area 60 out of 62 students (97%) passed the Junior Certificate Examination 31 of them being girls. FAIR, a local NGO working in 6 districts, has been promoting education of Dalit children by paying their monthly tuition and examination fees and supplying them with books and other educational materials.
