BRAC Founder and Chairperson Sir Fazle Hasan Abed has been awarded the Leo Tolstoy International Gold Medal by the Russian Children Foundation (RDF) on the occasion of International Children’s Day in Moscow on June 1. About 11,000 children from all around the country participated in the event. 

The Russian Children’s Foundation is actively working to provide social assistance to needy children in Russia in cooperation with public authorities, businesses and other community organizations.
