In partnership with BRTA, BRAC has taken up a project to produce 600 trained women drivers spending about Tk 80,000 for each of the graduates. There is severe shortage of skilled and properly trained drivers in the country. BRAC has also plans to send trained women drivers abroad for employment in future.
Fifteen women drivers graduated from the 4th batch of BRAC Driving School at a ceremony on 01 September when issues related to employment opportunities of the women drivers were discuss.
